My 5 favorite go-to cosmetics!!

For my first blog I thought we should start off with my 5 favorite cosmetic products. These are my go-to products that I re-use daily. I also use some of these products on my clients as well. Let the fun begin!!

No. 7 Intelligent Balance Mousse Foundation- Boots
$13.99 @ Target
30 Almond- my match
After being so frustrated with foundations making me breakout, as I have very sensitive skin that is also oily/combination, I was looking for a full coverage foundation that would not only going to be  nice to my skin but give me that airbrushed look and make me look flawless. I picked up this product with little expectations, given my bad luck in the past. When I got home, I noticed when I opened the jar that the formula looked very dark for the color that I chose. Although, as I proceeded I realized it only looked deceiving. The consistancy was very soft and velvety, giving the skin a very soft look. I didn't notice any creasing or streaks, it blended very well. I realized that a little product went a long way. I have had this foundation for 6 months now and have half a jar left. It does however have yellow undertones but it actually complimented my skin. Also, the lasting power was incredible, I don't have to touch up my face at all during the day. I can honestly say I am IN LOVE with this product!!!

Revlon PhotoReady Eye Primer + Brightener
$8.49 @ Target
003 Shade
This is an all around great eye primer that makes your eyeshadow last all day AND NIGHT!! Through sweat and tears this is my go-to eye primer. I have used it on my clients for special events such as weddings and proms and my clients have come back and told me that they danced all night and even through the special moments where they have shed some tears, there was no creasing and it lasted. Which says to me it does what it promises. It is a peach based liquid in a pen form that twists at the bottom to release the product from the tip of the brush. As with every primer, I always put a powder close to my skin tone over the blended in product before adding any other eyeshadow. I've also noticed that alone with a powder over it and a cat eye the eyeliner doesn't smudge at all. Everything literally stays in place the way you applied it.

Wet n' Wild Mega Laste Matte Lipstick
$2.99  @ Walgreens
901B Think Pink
Awesome everyday lipstick. The shade is a beautiful pink- on the coral side with great pigment. I find it great for spring. Although it can be very drying, applied with a lip balm underneath your as good as gold! If you want to even go for a more nude pink this works great with MAC's Myth over top.  I must admit Wet n' Wild through the years have stepped up their game! Affordable prices and great products!!

Monistat Chafing Relief Powder- Gel (as a face primer)
$4.97 @ Walmart
Ok, I know that this is chafing gel BUT it works amazing!! as a primer! When you put it on you can definetly tell your skin looks more smooth. It sinks into those pores and creates a smooth surface. I notice that it not only blocks oil but for me and my clients, sweat too! Now, I'm not saying that your not going to sweat at all but it definetly reduces the amount you sweat. The tube comes in 1.5 oz. and it literally lasts for a long time. When I was researching this product before I purchased it, guru's and beauty geeks like us were comparing it to Smashbox Photofinish Primer, which I have used myself. I definetly like this product better because of the affordable price and lasting power! THIS IS A MUST HAVE!

Betsey Johnson Perfume
$24.00 Online
My all time favorite perfume. It posesses  a blend of Amber, Tangerine, Grapefruit, Blackcurrant, Freesia, Musk, Pear, Red apple, and Praline. It smells very sexy yet sweet and spicy at the same time. It's not too heavy on and you don't need much of it. And that we all know my number one thing that I look for in a product is lasting power, it lasts for a great period of the day. And who doesn't just love Betsey Johnson!!! The bottle is super cute too! I love the cap. It reminds me of Candyland for some reason. haha.... I definetly suggest you go out and grab a bottle!

I hope you all enjoyed!!!
